I think so too…I also dumped out and refilled the trash can lid I am using with water, but it froze up again. I will be out there again spreading the love with some seed on the ground for the larger birds. 🙂
Susie, yes, those photographs were taken in a lull of the snowstorm. We were lucky and didn’t get quite as much as some other areas, but it is still about twelve inches or more. It is very pretty, but it will be a hard week coming up on Monday. The weather forecasters say all week long the snow will melt during the day and freeze up again at night, and that will cause treacherous driving on the roads the next day.

all so pretty I always feel so bad for them in the snow- I kept throwing food out yesterday but the snow covered it almost as fast!

I did the same. We had a couple of hours without snow so the birds were able to feed a bit.
