    1. Hi Susie, Yes, it is one of the places I walk. In the summer, it becomes a bit more overgrown and harder to get through. The ground in this area is low and retains moistness, all kinds of beautiful mosses and lichen grow on the fallen branches and around the creek. It is only a five to ten minute walk from my house to reach this path. There are not many big animals in this area, although I have heard there are a few coyotes repopulating the area. I often carry a long stick when I walk, not just for protection, but to move the undergrowth (brambles, poison ivy and honeysuckle) away from my feet.
