My computer is glitchy, the power cords/battery not powering up at all. I think they need replacing. In the meantime I’m using my husband’s computer to repost some of my favorite photos of Block Island, Rhode Island for today’s post. If you ever have a chance to visit this beautiful place you won’t be disappointed.
On Sundays I love to include a bit of praise and gratitude toward the Lord God for all His love and care for us. Today I’m going to dwell on these words of Jesus and try to live them every day. God bless you!
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” ~Mark 12:30-31
Ahh, lovely!

Thanks for showing us those pictures. Ah, I forgot, your computer was acting up- hence no posts.
Love your neighbor as yourself. I heard a recent sermon saying that one must first love himself to be able to love others. If not, one will only be able to give out bitter things.

So true Susie…it’s also hard if you have not received the proper love and acceptance from others to love in return as you should. God’s love can fill in all the holes that life leaves in us.

Oh, I love that heart rock!! ❤ When my Mom passed five years ago, I inherited her heart rock collection. I’ve been adding to it ever since and enjoy the fun in searching for them.

I’ve never found so many as I did on the beaches of Block Island. All sizes, all shape, all colors. I love heart-shaped rocks. How wonderful to have a collection by your Mom.

Stunning coastline! This is one of the most difficult verses to live by – because it means …evertyhing of me needs to love Him.

Yes, I agree. As soon as I focus on living this verse everyone and every situation seems to become negative. 😕
