I love Pinterest. For those of you who might not be familiar with www.Pinterest.com here is a description courtesy of Wikipedia: Pinterest is a pinboard-style photo-sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, and hobbies. Users can browse other pinboards for images, “re-pin” images to their own pinboards, or “like” photos.
I must admit, I visit Pinterest at least once a day and often more than once. I like to see what other people are “pinning” and I like to “pin” myself. I’ve begun playing a little game on Pinterest, perhaps I am not the first, but it goes something like this. After I “Pin” an item to my own boards, I follow the lead of a Pinterest box that pops up that is labeled: “also pinned to…” I click on that board and browse it a bit, eventually pinning something from it onto my own boards, again, an “also pinned on,” box appears and once again I follow, what I call the Pinterest Trail. It’s a fun game and it has brought to me many ideas, a few of them life-altering. I have found health tips, amazing recipes, good ideas for emergency preparedness, and hundreds upon hundreds of gardening tips and techniques. In short, my lists and boards are long. Check out the Pinterest site here: Pinterest
I will never in a million years be able to try all the pins I have chosen, but oh the fun and daydreams I have had about some of the amazing pins I have selected to view. If you have a few moments, try my Pinterest tag game. Happy Pinning to You!
