Perspective – Unbelievable Warning on Twitter (X)

Just a few minutes ago I posted this tweet on what is now called X. It was flagged immediately, and the photo blocked, for being considered sensitive content. I don’t need to say anything more because I know the readers here have sense. Anyway, the Bible says it better in Isaiah.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

~Isaiah 5:20

Day After Update: In the later hours of Sunday, I noticed the photo appeared again on Twitter, and was not marked as sensitive content. However, that flagging of a Bible Verse happened at all is eye-opening and indicative of the times we are living in.

I did immediately appeal. We will see what happens. The situation had the opposite effect from what they probably expect of people. It immediately filled me with a sense of battle, and I stood just now, and armored up using Ephesians 6:10-18. When I do this, I even go through the physical motions. God is with us.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

  1. The “x” symbol being used at Twitter, and for the unknown virus they want to scare us about in 2024 (as announced at Davos last week), is no mistake…it represents the ‘x’ chromosome and has been used as a symbol by the hateful and unbelieving enemies of God for a very long time — those who hate life, and hate that God created us in His image. God’s GREATER!!

    1. I mentioned in another comment how ridiculous I think the name is now. I always thought Tweeting and Twitter was a rather cute concept, even though so many use it to spread junk and worse. That is one of the reasons I like to post a bit of good there, in the hopes someone might see it, and if nothing else think a little. Many other people also spread the Good News there through Bible verses and good thoughts.

    1. I notice quite a few verses and uplifting quotes on the Twitter site. I know it is called X now, but somehow, I will never think of it by that ridiculous name. I did update this post when they removed the sensitive content warning and allowed the photo to show again. It is a warning though I think of how things are changing.

  2. I knew there was a good reason why I don’t use Twitter. That is just lunacy when robots can syphon through comments and choose which are appropriate and which are not. It’s the same on Facebook. Blogging is a far friendlier place to be. ❤

    1. I updated the post, the sensitive content warning was removed from this tweet. I agree with you, it is lunacy that a Bible Verse would be flagged. Especially a verse that is uplifting. I love blogging too. I have made so many blogging friends. It brings me happiness. Thanks for the comment.
