Product – Fighting Five

It’s been a rough ten days. Flu/Covid/Cold, one of the three or all of them simultaneously, chills, night sweats, fever, coughing, sneezing…you name it, we’ve had a bit of it. I wish I had remembered this small bottle within my stash of essential oils a bit sooner. Yesterday, facing another day of feeling dreadful, I remembered the Fighting Five essential oil. I placed a few drops in a diffuser and felt improved within a few minutes. It isn’t a cure, but it is a help for getting through the symptoms.

Both of us also experienced strange insomnia throughout this illness, waking every 45 minutes or so. Last night was the first night I slept well. I had filled the room with fragrance and the soothing power of the Fighting Five.

Lemon (Citrus limon)Cinnamon- Leaf (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)Rosemary- Moroccan (Rosmarinus officinalis)Clove- Bud (Eugenia caryophyllata)Eucalyptus- Globulus (Eucalyptus globulus)Eucalyptus- Radiata (Eucalyptus radiata)

Ingredients in the Fighting Five Essential Oil – Eden’s Garden

Fighting Five can be purchased through Eden’s Garden. I have bought essential oil for years through this company and have always been satisfied. I use the essential drops in a diffuser for air-born relief; the product also comes in a roll-on applicator.

    1. Better thanks…hesitated actually about posting about feeling unwell, but personal experience is sometimes needed when telling others of a product. We have a cat; I do realize the dangers of many essential oils to animals and appreciate you mentioning this…I forgot to include it in the post. This mix has two “iffy’ smells, but it is used infrequently in a diffuser. More often I just smell the oil from the bottle. We have three floors so our kitty can easily leave anywhere it is being diffused. The fragrance seems to hang about in the room it is used in and isn’t noticeable on the other floors.

  1. I had this bug, not fun. I will try this diffuser mix sounds good! I also strongly recommend Sambucus (elderberry chewables with vit C and zinc) and at least 2000 IU vit D daily — up to 5000 IU). A Canadian brand elderberry organic cough syrup I used (Suro)was excellent and also helps rebuild natural immunity. The Sambucus as well as natural blackberry, blueberry and elderberry juices are great antioxidant products and can cut symptoms and reduce duration significantly.

    1. If you look up 5 thieves and the legends surrounding it, you will see that the mix is ancient, even if it is just a legend. It did make me feel better, though be careful if you have pets. The first comment was a good reminder of that danger.
