Thanks Becky, I am really enjoying watching the hummingbirds and butterflies land on them. They sip the nectar from the tiny yellow florets. It’s a joyful thing.

They were late this year, but they have finally showed up, not in their usual numbers yet, but summer is only half over.

Thank you. Mine are doing okay, and I’m so glad, because of the butterflies and hummers. As the summer progresses though, here in southern NJ, they become mildewed due to the high humidity. I enjoy every day they bless my garden with their beauty.

I think zinnias are underrated and overlooked. They are pretty.

I agree. I have a photo of my great-grandmother standing in a bed of zinnias. The photo is black and white, but you can see the shape of the flowers and their height.

Zinnias are easy to grow and add color to anyone’s garden. Your “photographer eyes” really got up close and personal to one zinnia. What a shot!
