He is a joy to us. Sweet, calm and now a companion to our Maine Coon Cat, he has quickly become a beloved part of our household.

I have two cats…both boys, but they are neutered so that they will be happier in the house. I don’t let them outdoors. We had a wonderful cat that caught a feline leukemia from going outside and we will not let cats out anymore because of that. Both my cats are very big…and very shy.

Its good they don’t want to go out at all after being neutered. My neutered Sunshine wants to go out all the time. I made the roof garden for him, so he doesn’t feel very sad. He tries to jump off the wall of the roof but it is so high that he doesn’t dare so far.

Sometimes we let the porch that is screened in, but never out on the grass. I like the name Sunshine for a cat.

You are lucky- Sunshine is totally a stray cat and whom we are trying to domesticate and who refuses to be domesticated even after four years- he wants to go out all the time. I have a few strays whom I feed outside the house and he wants to be with them.

If I was a cat I’d want to be outside too! Sunshine sounds like he has found the best of both worlds…and he sounds like one smart kitty-cat! 😀

I will try to get him standing up at some point Susie. He is getting old, and his favorite thing to do is nap…he also snores as loud as a person would…he is funny.

My daughter says, Sunshine burps and does other un-mentionable things – but I have never heard him.:)
