MTM suffered so and the end of her days. Besides a multitude of diseases, many do not know that her son committed suicide at the age of 24. Trust me when I say that this alone was enough to torment her through the remainder of her life. She was an inspiration to so many of us. She was a “single woman” on TV who was successfully making her way in the world. I know I’m not alone when I say that she started something in me that I carry to this very day. “A woman can accomplish as much as a man; even more.” I agree with you. MTM deserves all of our thanks. She will be missed.

Thanks so much for your insight into this lovely woman’s life. Too bad the celebrities of this day can’t take a lesson from her classiness.
