Today’s Color Your World – 120 Days of Crayola color is Goldenrod. I don’t have any goldenrod flowers on hand, but I do have the promise of daffodils growing in my garden. Yesterday, I walked around the yard and found the promise of Spring in the midst of a nice clump of daffodil leaves.
“I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.”
~ William Wordsworth
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.”
~ William Wordsworth

I was so surprised to see that flower bud. It is probably weeks away from blooming, but it gave me a thrill to see it there.

Kathy,
This is my very favorite poem of all time. Thank you for sharing it and the promise that new things are around the corner.
I am facing some disappointment now and your post reminded me that if I hang on, things will take a turn and something nice will come out of it.
Thank you,
Susie
