My husband and I are just home from our annual trip to Mt Vernon, WA to decorate my parent’s graves and those of as many Vets as we are able. This year my garden had an exuberant amount of calla lilies, poppies, daisies, lamb’s ears, and Siberian iris. I threw in some lemon balm for greenery. My sister met us there. We were able to decorate 25 graves. We chose WWI and WWII, plus families Maggie and I grew up with that had Vietnam Vets. It’s a small way to let families know we honor their loss.
Gratitude~

What a great idea. I will tuck that away for next Memorial day and do the same.
