Both caterpillars are thriving on the seventh day in the habitat we created. The one in the foreground is eating parsley, the one in the background is reclining on a piece of dill. The smaller one, caught in an overnight freeze, took a few days to fully revive, but is doing very well now.
I am happy they are faring well, all due to your care. Due to size disparity, does this mean the larger caterpillar is older and will enter the chrysalis stage sooner than the smaller one?

Either that or being out in a hard frost overnight did slow the second one down. I’ll keep up with the updates.

They are beautiful creatures aren’t they and they seem to be happy. I am glad the plants are doing well too.

Thanks Susie. The dill plant, after being eaten down to nothing, has decided it likes growing indoors in the middle of the floor and is sending up all kinds of new shoots.
