One of my favorites…I watch with a goofy smile pasted on my face for most of it. Sweet, clean, wonderful characters and stories…and much of it true. Based on the recollections of James Alfred “Alf” Wight, writing under the pen name James Herriot, Veterinarian. Season 1, aired in 2021, and Season 2, is airing now in the U.S. on PBS, and is available on Acorn TV. All Creatures Great and Small is definitely a binge-worthy television show.

I love beautiful landscapes in the television I watch. It expands my own horizons a bit and shows me places I would like to visit, if only in my dreams. Another show I love that has amazing scenery is Doc Martin.

I read the books years ago and loved them. We are enjoying the PBS series. It is wonderful.

I don’t think I have read the books other than a few excerpts. If I did, it was so long ago I don’t remember. 🤔 I think they will be an upcoming choice for sure. Thanks!

I was old enough to watch the original as a kid & am now listening to the audio books. The scenery in this new series looks dreamy. Would love to watch it. Would definitely put a smile on my face too.
