“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!”~ Isaiah 5:20-21
“The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose.
An evil soul producing holy witness
Is like a villain with a smiling cheek,
A goodly apple rotten at the heart.
O, what a goodly outside falsehood hath!”― William Shakespeare, The Merchant of Venice
A certain type of marriage has been declared ok just yesterday but I guess we must take it like this – the Father knows what is happening and is allowing it to happen, so there must be a purpose. We need to keep the faith and I guess not be judgmental. I am amazed that there is so much of corruption allowed in my native country. Anything goes. A few years back, people would have minded these things and would have resigned for so much as a whiff of being tainted, “corrupt”- doesn’t happen any more.
Kathy, keep the faith.

Susie, I agree. Thank you for your wise words. I feel as Christians we must take a stand, that is why I used these two quotes, one a Bible verse, and one a centuries old piece of wisdom. I am horrified by those who portray themselves as Christians with their words (or songs) but then in their next words or actions approve of the evil that is destroying our fundamental beliefs. Susie, blessings, and you keep the faith too. It is our most precious possession.
